About Reverse words
The reverse words tool reverses whitespace-separated tokens within each line. Each word’s letters remain in their original order, unlike the character-by-character Reverse text tool.
Line order remains unchanged. Whitespace separators are also reversed within the line, so spacing patterns may move with the transformation. Punctuation stays attached to the token where it appeared.
How to use Reverse words

Frequently asked questions
Does punctuation move independently?
No. A token such as “hello,” keeps its comma. The token changes position as a unit.
Are line breaks preserved?
Yes. Each line is processed independently and stays in its original line position.
Does it understand grammar?
No. Words are separated by whitespace; the tool does not parse sentences, language syntax or phrases.
Is my text uploaded or saved?
The tool processes the text in this page, on your device. It does not send the input to a conversion service or save it to an account. Advertising and ordinary website requests are separate from this local text processing. Copy or download any result you want to keep before leaving the tool.
