The tools are built on PDF.js, pdf-lib and a WebAssembly build of QPDF, the same kind of libraries used in desktop PDF software. Compress PDF offers a lossless mode that keeps text, links and forms, plus an optional scan mode for image-heavy documents. Protect PDF adds AES-256 password encryption, and Unlock PDF removes a password you know.
Most tools work on up to 12 PDFs at once, with 50 MB and 500 pages per file and 100 MB in total. Results download individually or as a ZIP. Interactive AcroForm fields stay editable after editing, and the tools warn you when a file already carries a digital signature that changes could invalidate.

Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. Every PDF tool runs locally in your browser, including password protection and compression. Documents and passwords stay on your device, and the PDF engine files are served from this site rather than a third-party service.
Can I open a password-protected PDF?
Yes, if you know the password. Enter it in the PDF password field before opening the file. The tools cannot recover or bypass an unknown password. Files saved by most tools are not password-protected, so run Protect PDF as the last step if you need encryption.
Is the drawn signature a digital signature?
No. Sign PDF places a visual signature, an image of your handwriting or a signature file, on the page. It is not a certificate-based cryptographic signature. Editing a PDF that already has a digital signature can invalidate that signature, and the tools warn you when they detect one.
What are the file size and page limits?
Each PDF can be up to 50 MB and 500 pages, and batch tools accept up to 12 PDFs and 100 MB in total, with at most 1,000 pages combined. Generated output is limited to 150 MB. Larger files should be split first.
Do the tools work with PDF forms?
Fill PDF forms supports interactive AcroForm text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and lists, and the fields remain editable afterwards. XFA forms, which some government and enterprise PDFs use, are detected and reported as unsupported.
